Rallis India Dividend Record Date: The record date for Rallis India Ltd's final dividend is just days away. The Tata Group company has fixed June 4, 2026, as the record date for its proposed Rs 3 per share final dividend for FY26.
The record date is important as it determines the eligibility of shareholders to receive the proposed dividend.
Investors who wish to qualify for the dividend must hold the company's shares before the stock turns ex-dividend.
In a regulatory filing, Rallis India said its board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 3 per equity share of face value Re 1 each, equivalent to a 300 per cent payout. The proposal is subject to approval by shareholders at the company's 78th Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled for June 23, 2026.
For the unaware, a dividend is a portion of a company's profits that is shared with its shareholders as a reward for owning its stock. The money is usually paid directly to the shareholder. Companies may pay dividends every quarter, every six months, or once a year.
If approved, the dividend will be paid on or after June 25, 2026, after deduction of applicable tax at source (TDS).
The stock will trade ex-dividend on June 4, 2026. To get the benefit of the dividend, investors must hold the shares before the ex-dividend date. This day, the company checks their record book to determine the eligibility of shareholders.
The proposed payout is higher than the Rs 2.50 per share final dividend declared in FY25, FY24 and FY23. The company had last paid a final dividend of Rs 3 per share in FY22.
