Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation Ltd (IRCTC) today announced that bookings for the Mahakumbh Gram IRCTC Tent City at Prayagraj are now live, according to an official statement. 

"The experience of spiritual immersion during the Mahakumbh of Prayagraj in January – February 2025 has been made more convenient, affordable and reliable by IRCTC who have launched the Tent City during this period. Available in two Categories, the tents are being offered at an amazingly low rate of Rs. 6000/- plus taxes per person per night inclusive of breakfast," said IRCTC in the release.

"IRCTC said “The accommodation of tents being developed is state of the art in terms of Comfort, Convenience, Medical Support, Round The Clock Security, a High end Culinary Experience and the Overall Hospitality for which IRCTC has earned a Brand reputation during operation of Aastha Trains and Bharat Gaurav Trains," said Sanjay Kumar Jain, chairman & MD.

The IRCTC tents are conveniently located near the Bathing Ghats and other tourist attractions in Prayagraj. The minimal tent space is among the finest in the business. A separate dining area with sit-down amenities and top-tier caterers rounds off the experience.
