In a move to modernise services and improve passenger amenities, Indian Railways’ Western Railway zone has announced an increase in the frequency of Gujarat’s first Amrit Bharat Express, operating between Udhna and Brahmapur.

Originally scheduled to run only once a week, the train will now operate three times a week, offering travelers greater flexibility and convenience. Ticket bookings for the updated schedule will commence on November 16, 2025.

Western Railway Chief Public Relations Officer Vineet Abhishek confirmed the frequency increase for train numbers 19021/19022.

Beginning from November 19, 2025, the Udhna to Brahmapur train (19021) will be operational on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and its schedule will be as follows: Udhna at 07:10 am, Brahmapur at the next day’s 13:55 PM.

As for the reversal of the train (19022), it will depart from Brahmapur to Udhna now on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 23:45 pm, with a stop at Udhna on the third day at 08:45 am. The enhancement is viewed to be a crucial factor in making long-distance travel more convenient and efficient for passengers.

Train will stop at many significant places in both ways, including Bardoli, Vyara, Navapur, Nandurbar, Malkapur, Nagpur, Durg, Raipur, Titlagarh, Vijayanagaram, and Palasa. Three times a week service will have tickets that can be purchased from the IRCTC web page, its mobile application, and PRS ticket counters. Just Rs 795 is the bed class ticket from Udhna to Brahmapur, which makes it the best deal for traveling long distances.
