In today’s world, travelling has become much easier. You can book your train, bus, or flight tickets right from home. However, many people are still unaware of the risks of using unauthorised agents for booking tickets. Such agents can lead to serious problems like to get a chalan, including other issues during your journey.

During the festive season, when train ticket demand rises, many people either get too busy or don’t know how the booking process works. In the rush, they often ask someone else to book tickets for them, and that’s where problems can arise. So, if you’ve already got your ticket booked through someone, take a moment to check it carefully. Make sure all your details are correct and the booking is genuine.

Recently, Indian Railways issued a warning on their official X account, highlighting that “Booking train tickets using a personal user ID while posing as a fake agent is inappropriate and illegal.” The statement also explained what travelers should check on their tickets to avoid any last-minute problems.
