SEBI partners with DigiLocker to reduce unclaimed assets and boost investor protection

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has teamed up with DigiLocker to help investors keep track of their securities holdings and reduce unclaimed financial assets. This partnership aims to make it easier for investors to access and manage their financial information securely. With this new system, investors can store details of their demat accounts and mutual fund holdings in DigiLocker, which already holds documents like bank statements, insurance policies, and National Pension System (NPS) details.
