Minimum AC temperature to be 20 degrees in India? Centre & industry planning smart cooling solutions

The central government and the industry are planning to focus on smart air conditioners that will use less energy. The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), a government agency under the Ministry of Power, has recommended that the industry set the minimum temperature of ACs to 20 degrees Celsius. BEE's goal is to promote energy-saving practices and reduce energy use.
