CM Yogi Adityanath clears DA hike, 16 lakh staffers to benefit—Arrears from Jan 1 | UP government

Good news, UP government staff! The Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh administration has approved a dearness allowance (DA) hike of 200 basis points—or 2 percentage points—to 55 per cent for state government employees. The DA hike will take effect from January 1, with the payment of arrears to be paid in May. The much-awaited hike in the dearness allowance will lead to bigger take-home salaries for UP government staff. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath approved the proposed increase in the dearness allowance (DA).
