7th Pay Commission: As the Modi government is inching towards general elections 2019, it has decided to please its employees and due to that lakhs of retired teaching and non-teaching staff, including retired employees of the Central Universities and Colleges have benefitted. As many as 23 lakh beneficiaries will get an increased salary as per the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission.
