Viswasam Box Office Collection: No one would have thought that Thala Ajith's Viswasam will emerge as a blockbuster even after clashing release with Rajinikanth's Petta. The film has so far done a wonderful business at box offices. It has not stopped yet. Viswasam is still doing a decent business in Tamil Nadu. As per reports, 70 per cent of film's collection has been from Tamil Nadu alone. You can say that Tamil Nadu is the key growth engine for the film. Directed by Siva, the film is set to create some new records in the coming days.

Viswasam producer 'Sathya Jyothi Thyagarajan, in an interview to The Hindu has said that the film has earned around Rs 130 crore nett in the Tamil Nadu alone.
Viswasam box office collection worldwide
Thyagarajan added that the film has collected around Rs 200 crore. Though the official worldwide figure is yet to be out, the reports have pegged the overseas collections somewhere around Rs 55 crore. Considering its collection in other regional languages, the film is said to have collected around Rs 200 crore.
Viswasam box office collection: Telugu release to make it Rs 200 crore-film
Film critic and trade analyst Ramesh Bala said that Thala Ajith 's Viswasam is heading for a Big release in Telugu on March 1. The Telugu release will further boost the film's collection and may help it cross Rs 200 crore.
Viswasam box office collection: 110+ Theaters in 7th Week
Bala said that the film was released on over 582 screens and is still ruling over 110 theatres in its 7th week in Tamil Nadu.

Ramesh Bala said that Viswasam has completed 50 days continuous run not only in India but abroad as well. He said that Thala Ajith film has achieved the milestone in Bengaluru, Jaffna, Toronto and is slowly making inroads into Sri Lankan Tamil audience.
