Total Dhamaal box office collection Day 2: The star-studded comedy film witnessed a surge in earnings on the second day of its release. The entertainment quotient of the film seems to have paid off. After it managed to collect Rs 16.50 crore on the opening day, the film earned over Rs 20 crore at the box office on the second day. The Indra Kumar directorial movie starring Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Jaaved Jaaferi, Madhuri Dixit and Anil Kapoor is expected to do well on Sunday too.

Film trade analyst and critic Sumit Kadel said that it was funny, especially the first half and it's a no brainer fast-paced family entertainer, lavishly shot and well performed by Ajay Devgn, Madhuri Dixit, Anil Kapoor Riteish Deshmukh and the entire cast. The second half is moderate and it could have been better. Overall a good film.
