Thugs of Hindostan box office collection day 1: Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif need to beat these 5 iconic films

Thugs of Hindostan Box Office Prediction: Trade analyst Girish Johar has predicted a Rs 50 crore plus opening for the film. If that happens, the Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Amitabh Bachchan starrer will break the records of these five iconic films, including SHah Rukh Khan starrer Happy New Year! Happy New Year: A Farah Khan film starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, it had had earned Rs 44.97 crore on Day 1. This was the highest ever for any Bollywood movie. Will Mr Perfectionist, Aamir Khan be able to beat King Khan's record? Just wait and watch how the film turns out at the box office!

Baahubali 2 - The Conclusion: Directed by SS Rajamouli, the epic action drama had grossed Rs 41 crore on opening day. The film has a star cast like Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, and Anushka Shetty. The film also holds the record for the highest day 1 earning in the year 2017.

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo: Directed by Sooraj Barjatya, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo featured Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor. The film's box office collection was a whopping Rs 40.35 crore on opening day.

Sultan: Another Salman Khan film. The Ali Abbas Zafar directed film had earned Rs 36.54 crore on opening day.

Dhoom 3: Last but not the least, another film that features Aamir Khan, Dhoom 3 had earned Rs 36.22 crore on opening day. The film was directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the director of the Thugs of Hindostan! Thus, this contest becomes even more interesting!
