Super 30 box office collection: Running in its 3rd week, Hrithik Roshan starrer has stayed strong at the box office. Performing super-strong in the third week, Super 30 is showing no signs of slowing down. The Vikas Bahl directorial, that is based on the life of mathematician Anand Kumar, has so far pocketed Rs 131.65 crore in India business and counting.
The earnings during the weekdays have also been encouraging. On Friday the movie added Rs 2.14 crore to its collection, Saturday collection is Rs 4.47, Sunday it added Rs 5.61 crore, Monday was a little slow as it added Rs 1.39 crores. On Tuesday the movie was steady as it added Rs 1.35 crore to its collection and again on Wednesday, it took in up to Rs 1.47 crore at the BO. (Photo: YouTube)
Hrithik Roshan's film has set cash registers ringing across the country. The movie has been appreciated by the critics, government and the audience. Huge footfalls have been registered at the box office in Mumbai, Delhi/Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Bengal and Bihar.
Mumbai remains in the hot-spot in terms of earnings, with Rs 40.97 crore so far. Whereas Delhi/Uttar Pradesh collected (Rs 27.23 cr), Punjab (Rs 11.41 cr), and Rajasthan (Rs 6.27 cr) are the states where the movie has witnessed good collection.
The film collected over Rs 11 crore on its opening day and the collection of the movie has been consistent so far. Notably, every weekend it has witnessed a surge in the collection.
The movie is based on the real-life of famed mathematician and tutor Anand Kumar. Kumar shot to fame when his students showed amazing aptitude to qualify for the IITs year aftare year. He takes in 30 students only and provides them free coaching, lodging and food. Kumar's role has been portrayed by Hrithik Roshan. Hrithik has been praised for his acting.
