Looking for a job? Here are five points to help you ace an interview

We often switch jobs, sometimes for career growth or sometimes for financial stability. However, only skill and experience are not enough to clear a job interview. We list five things which may help you ace an interview: (Image: Pixabay)

1) Know the Company: Interviewer often reject a candidate if he/she appears unaware of the employer. According to a 2015 survey, 38 per cent employers said it is worst mistake by candidates if they have less knowledge about the company they are trying to be a part of.   (Image: Pixabay)

2) Take Questions: Don't be afraid of questions. Be mentally prepared to answer a range of questions. Try to give answers with confidence. If you are completely unaware of the answer, don't try to frame one. Simply state that you don't know the answer. A make-for answer may land in a soup.  (Image: Pixabay)

3) Ask Questions: Do not let your interview become one-sided. Participate in the interview by asking questions as well. You may ask about the culture of the company, about a typical day at the company, day to day responsibilities and next targets.  (Image: Pixabay)

4) Share Your Plan: An employer always wants to know how you will be beneficial for his company. You must make a work plan and briefly state it during the interview. (Image: Pixabay)

5) Resume: Your resume is the most important part of your job application. It should not be cluttered and should contain only important and relevant information. Try to keep your CV short. (Image: Pixabay)
