Box office collection: Badhaai Ho vs AndhaDhun vs Namaste England and more; check out the winners and losers
Box office collection: Ayushmann Khurranna is ruling the box office, as most of the other movies released recently have not seen a good reception from the audience. His releases Badhaai Ho and AndhaDhun have received rave review from the critics and audiences. Badhaai Ho has already earned Rs 31.46 crore. Other recent releases like FryDay, Helicopter Eela, and Namaste England have not seen much traction in terms of earnings at the box office.
Badhaai Ho box office collection: The Ayushmann Khurranna movie has witnessed good audience footfall in theatres ever since its release. On day 1, the movie earned Rs 7.29 cr, on day 2 Rs 11.67 cr, while on the 3rd day it earned Rs 12.50 cr, taking the total to Rs 31.46 cr.
Namaste England box office collection: Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra starrer has been disappointing as it earned about Rs 1 cr on Thursday, Rs 2 cr on Friday and Rs 1.5 cr on Saturday, taking the total box office collection to Rs 5.25 cr.
AndhaDhun box office collection: The Ayushmann Khurrana film earned Rs 2.70 cr on opening day, Rs 15 cr at the end of the opening weekend and has so far earned Rs 50.85 by the end of Week 2.
FryDay box office collection: Govinda starrer FryDay started its box office journey on a dismal note. The film managed to earn only Rs 30 lakh on the opening day. At the end of the opening weekend, the film collected Rs 1.20 cr, while Rs 1.50 cr in the first week.
Helicopter Eela box office collection: This Kajol movie could not make a mark at the box office. The movie could barely manage to earn Rs 4.10 cr in box office collections at the end of the week.
