Avengers Endgame box office collection India: A decade ago when Marvel came up with the concept of creating a superhero universe where stories will overlap with each other, it seemed like a huge risk. Ten years later, the studio is on the edge of getting its biggest release ever. Avengers: Endgame is set to hit the theatres on April 26 globally and in all likelihood, will become the biggest Hollywood release in India. According to trade analyst Sumit Kadel, the film should earn a minimum of Rs 40 crore on its opening day. There is a chance that the film might have one of the highest opening days in India till date surpassing Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (Rs 41 crore), Happy New Year (44.97 crore) and Aamir Khan’s Thugs Of Hindostan (52.25 crore)

The Marvel Cinematic Universe was kicked-off in 2008 with the release of Iron Man. Since then, the studio has produced 21 films under MCU, with Endgame being 22nd. Over the last decade, Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Spider Man, Ant Man, Black Panther, Doctor Strange and Captain Marvel have got their stand-alone movies while other characters have made appearances in them. Online ticket booking website BookMyShow sold a record one million tickets within a day of advance booking that started Saturday. Shows of the film in some part of the country start as early as midnight and run around the clock. Music composer A.R. Rahman has come up with an Endgame anthem in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
