Sardar Patel 'Statue of Unity' project gets ready: Check cost, tallest world statues it will beat

Statue of Unity: Sardar Patel world's tallest statue will be unveiled in India on October 31 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It took four years to complete this grand project by Larsen & Toubro, a renowned global construction company. The cost of the statue is 2989 crore and the material used in statue are steel framing, reinforced concrete, bronze coating. The statue is located facing the Narmada Dam, 3.2 km (2.0 mi) away on the river island called Sadhu Bet near Vadodara in Gujarat.
