In a big setback for the uber rich people, 28 Asian businessmen lost a massive $137 billion in 2018!. As per the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, these 128 affluent Asian businessmen lost a combined $137 billion in 2018. 1. Lakshmi Mittal
ArcelorMittal chief, who commands the world’s steel manufacturing market, led the way by losing $5.6 billion, or 29 per cent of his net worth this year. (Reuters)

Shanghvi founded Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, the world’s fourth-largest drugmaker, but that did not prevent him from seeing his wealth sink by $4.6 billion. (Reuters)

Wanda Group’s owner Wang Jianlin whose property is selling assets to cut debt, lost $10.8 billion - these losses were the maximum for a billionaire in Asia in 2018. (Reuters)
