West Bengal Civil Service exam 2020: Public Service Commission, West Bengal (WBPSC) has released a notification regarding West Bengal Civil Service (Executive) Examination, 2020 on its official website. The interested candidates who wish to apply for WBPSC exam can visit the official website of WBPSC ie. http://pscwbapplication.in/. The Preliminary Examination will be held at various centres in Kolkata and in certain other districts in West Bengal tentatively on the 9th February 2020.

Closing date for submission of online application is on 25th November 2019 (up to 12-00 midnight). Closing date for submission of fees through offline mode is on 26th November 2019.
Candidates applying for the post should have a degree of a recognized University. Additionally, should have an ability to read, write and speak in Bengali.
The age limit set for the candidate is not below 21 years but not more than 36 years on the 1st January of the year of examination for services and posts included in Group ‘A’ & ’C’.

The W.B.C.S Examination consists of two parts
(1) Written Examination
(2) Personality Test.
Written Examination will be held in two successive stages, Preliminary Examination (Objective MCQ Type) and Main Examination (Both Objective MCQ Type and Conventional Type).
