VCRC Puducherry recruitment 2019: The ICMR-Vector Control Research Centre (VCRC) has issued a recruitment notification for the posts of Scientist-B. The last date for submission of the application is April 8, 2019. The applicants may apply in the prescribed format before the last date.

The candidates should go through the official notification before applying for the posts to make sure that they have all the requisite educational qualifications, experience, and fulfil all the other criteria. Scientist-B (Entomology): 2 posts
Scientist-B (Chemistry): 1 post

Educational qualification:
Scientist-B (Entomology): The candidates should hold a Master’s degree in Zoology/Public Health Entomology /Medical Entomology or equivalent degree from any recognised university or second-class Master’s degree and Ph.D in Medical Entomology/Zoology/ Public Health Entomology from any recognised university.

Scientist-B (Chemistry): The candidates should hold a first-class Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry/Chemistry from any recognised university or second-class Master’s degree and Ph.D in relevant subjects.

Age limit: 
The candidates should not be more than 35 years of age. Age relaxation for the reserved category and women candidates will be in accordance with the government rules.

Application fees:
General and OBC candidates have to pay Rs 500, while SC/ST/women candidates are exempted from fee.
