The India Meteorological Department (IMD) reports that India will experience above-normal temperatures throughout the upcoming days. The IMD reports that various regions in Northwest India will experience temperatures which exceed normal levels by 4 to 6 degrees Celsius.
Central India will experience temperatures that exceed typical values by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius. People living in these areas need to get ready because the upcoming week will bring them warmer weather than normal.
Northern hill states will receive only light rain and snowfall. Jammu and Kashmir is expected to experience light rain and snow between March 4 and March 9, ANI reported.
Himachal Pradesh will face similar weather conditions from March 7 to March 9, while Uttarakhand will experience light rain and snowfall between March 8 and March 9. The region experiences this weather change because of a weak Western disturbance, which currently affects the area.
The northeastern region of the country has experienced dense fog conditions, which impact specific locations throughout Meghalaya and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal.
The areas experienced extremely low visibility, which ranged from 50 to 199 meters. The same foggy weather conditions that exist in Sikkim will continue to persist throughout the morning tomorrow.
The IMD reported that various northern states experience extremely high maximum temperatures, which exceed normal temperature levels.
The states of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Uttar Pradesh, and West Rajasthan experience temperatures that range from 4 to 8 degrees above normal.
The states of Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, and Bihar report temperatures that exceed normal levels by 2 to 4 degrees. The rest of the country experiences temperatures that remain close to normal levels.
Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Odisha, and areas throughout Peninsular India report maximum temperatures that range from 35 to 38 degrees Celsius.
The region of Madhya Pradesh, southern Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar experiences temperatures that range from 32 to 35 degrees Celsius. The majority of plain regions in India experience maximum temperatures that range from 28 to 31 degrees Celsius.

Minimum temperatures in many northern and central states, including Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal, Assam, and Meghalaya, are ranging between 10 and 15 degrees Celsius. Coastal Odisha, South Peninsular India and the West Coast experience warmer nighttime conditions because their minimum temperatures reach 20 to 25 degrees Celsius.
The IMD also reported that an upper air cyclonic circulation has developed above multiple areas of Assam. A new cyclonic system has formed above the South Bay of Bengal and adjacent Equatorial Indian Ocean, which will affect upcoming weather patterns in the next several days.
