There was not much activity in the local steel market in the national capital today with prices moving in a narrow range in limited deals and pegged at last levels.
Marketmen said scattered deals from construction units against sufficient stocks position mainly kept steel prices at previous levels.
Following are today's quotations (in Rs per tonne):
Saria Kamdhenu: 8-mm Rs 44,000, 10-mm Rs 43,400, 12-mm Rs 43,100, 16-25 mm Rs 43,100.
