SSC JE 2019 notification: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC junior engineer (JE) recruitment notification. The application process has begun from August 13 and the applicants will be able to apply till September 12, 2019 till 05 pm. The notification for the SSC JE 2019 was released on the Commission's official website - ssc.nic.in. The candidates should apply in the prescribed format before the last date of application submission through the official website.
However, the SSC JE Exam dates have not been notified yet. Through SSC JE exam 2019, the Commission will select candidates for the posts of Junior Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical, Quantity Surveying and contract, and Civil). A total of 1,601 posts will be filled through this exam. The candidates may find the official notification on the official website for details.

Educational qualification: 
The candidates should hold a Diploma (Engineering) in the related field.
Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical): For these posts, the candidates should hold a 3 years Diploma or equivalent in Civil Engineering/Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Junior Engineer (Quantity Surveying & Contract): For these positions, the applicants should hold a 3 years Diploma in Civil engineering OR have passed an intermediate examination in Building and Quantity Surveying Sub Divisional-II of the institute of Surveyors (India).

Selection process: 
The candidates will be selected through a computer-based objective type test (100 marks) and conventional type written examination (300 Marks). 

Salary:
Level-6 (Rs 35400- 1,12,400) of pay matrix under the 7th Central Pay Commission.

The candidates can apply online through the SSC official website - ssc.nic.in.

Application fees:
For the general and OBC candidates, the application fee is Rs 100, while for the women /SC/ST/PH/Ex-Servicemen, there is no fee. Fee can be paid online or Offline through SBI challan mode.
