Sensex, Nifty open on positive note in early trade

The 30-scrip sensitive index Sensex on Wednesday opened on a positive note during the morning session of the trade.

The Sensex of the BSE after opening at 26,368.88 points and touched a high of 26,394.14 and a low of 26,318.59 points.

On Tuesday, the Sensex closed at 26,307.98 points.

The Sensex is trading at 26,337.59 points up by 29.61 points or 0.11%.

On the other hand, the broader 51-scrip Nifty at National Stock Exchange (NSE) opened at 8,105.95 points after closing at 8,082.40 points.

The Nifty is trading at 8,093.65 points in the morning.
