Sensex, Nifty open on positive note in early trade

The 30-scrip sensitive index Sensex on Wednesday opened on a positive note during the morning session of the trade on Wednesday.
The Sensex of the BSE after opening at 26,441.02 points, touched a high of 26,484.07 and a low of 26,413.92 points.
On Tuesday, the Sensex closed at 26,394.01 points.
The Sensex was trading at 26,440.19 points up by 46.18 points or 0.17%.
On the other hand, the broader 51-scrip Nifty at National Stock Exchange(NSE) opened at 8,172.15 points after closing at 8,142.15 points.
The Nifty was trading at 8,153.45 points in the morning trade.
