RRB Recruitment 2018: Railways to run four more special trains for August 20 exam

RRB Recruitment 2018: Lakh of candidates are appearing for Indian Railways Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician Exam. Around 47.55 lakh candidates have applied for 60,000 posts for Assistant Loco Pilots (ALPs) and Technicians.

Railways will be conducting these exams till August 31. The next sets of the exam will be held on August 17, 20, 21, 29, 30 and 31.

In order to clear the rush of examinees, Railways will be running four special trains between Danapur – Secunderabad – Danapur and Barauni – Secunderabad - Barauni for its August 20 exam.

Below are the details of the exam special train:

1) Train No. 03255 /03256 Danapur – Secunderabad – Danapur Exam Special Train:

Train No. 03255 Danapur – Secunderabad exam special train will depart Danapur at 22:30 hrs on 17th August, 2018 (Friday) and arrive Secunderabad at 13:00 hrs on the second day.

In the return direction, Train No. 03256 Secunderabad – Danapur exam special train will depart Secunderabad at 21:00 hrs on 20th August, 2018 (Monday) and arrive Danapur at 10:00 hrs on the second day.

Enroute, this special train will stop at Ara, Buxar, Didarnagar, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadaya (DDU), Allahabad Cheoki, Satna, Katni, Jabalpur, Itarsi, Nagpur and Balharshah stations in both the directions.

2) Train No. 05287 / 05288 Barauni – Secunderabad – Barauni Exam Special Train:

Train No. 05287 Barauni – Secunderabad Exam Special Train will depart Barauni at 16.30 hrs on 17th August, 2018 (Friday) and arrive Secunderabad at 11.30 hrs on the second day.

In the return direction, Train No. 05288 Secunderabad - Barauni Exam Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 19.00 hrs on 20th August, 2018 (Monday) and arrive Barauni at 10.50 hrs on the second day.

Enroute, this special train will stop at Mokama, Bakhityarpur, Patna, Danapur, Ara, Buxar, Dildarnagar, Pt.Deen Dayal Upadaya (DDU), Allahabad Cheoki, Satna, Katni, Jabalpur, Itarsi, Nagpur and Balharshah stations in both the directions.

Two recruitment notifications- one for Assistant Loco Pilots (ALPs) and Technicians and the other for Level-I (erstwhile group D) posts, for filling up about 1.2 lakh vacancies are under process. A total of 2.4 crore candidates have applied for these posts.
