Candidates between the age of 15 Years and 24 years can only apply for the apprentice posts. Age relaxation, however, is admissible for SC/ST/OBC/ PWD/ ESM candidates as per rules.
Railway Recruitment 2018: South East Central Railway has just announced apprentice vacancies for over 400 posts. The job notification is available on official websites: secr.indianrailways.gov.in and www.apprenticeship.gov.in. The application process has already started and the deadline to apply for the posts is July 31, 2018 till 6 pm.
"Online applications through the website: www.apprenticeship.gov.in from 01.07.2018 to 31.07.2018 (till 18.00 hrs) are invited from the eligible candidates for engagement," said South East Central Railway job notification.

Selected candidates will be engaged as apprentices and they will undergo apprenticeship training for a period of 1 year for each trade. They will be paid stipend during their training as per the rules of State Government of Chhattisgarh. Their training will be terminated after the completion of their apprenticeship.
Educational/technical qualification:
a) Must have passed 1Oth class examination under l0+2 system or its equivalent.
b) Must have passed ITI course in relevant trades from a recognised institution.
