Raid box office collection day 6: Ileana, Ajay Devgn get good traction, boost take to Rs 58.39 cr
Raid box office collection: The movie is getting the benefit of good reviews from critics and these have been well backed by a strong word of mouth. This has enabled it to rise over the fact that it has released in under 4000 theatres in the country.
Raid box office collection day 6: It may not have started in a fantastic manner for the actors concerned, but this Ileana D'Cruz, Saurabh Shukla and Ajay Devgn starrer is still managing to make waves with its earnings on day 6. Considering that it did not get the benefit of an extended weekend or of a holiday falling in mid-week, the film's earnings are still managing to chug along merrily and it is set to hit some major marks in the near future - just see how Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety raked in Rs 100 cr despite not having collected over Rs 10 cr on any day except one through its entire run of almost a month! So, the future for Raid collection is rosy too. In fact, considering that Raid has a superstar in a central role in the film, the outlook is great so far. Of course, nothing is written in stone and the final result is always determined by the rival films present in theatres to draw viewers attention away. Significantly, Raid collection has made it the third highest opening day grosser of 2018 and it even beat Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, which had collected Rs 6.42 cr.
Taking to Twitter today, trade analyst Taran Adarsh posted this message:"#Raid maintains a STRONG GRIP... Fri 10.04 cr, Sat 13.86 cr, Sun 17.11 cr, Mon 6.26 cr, Tue 5.76 cr, Wed 5.36 cr. Total: ₹ 58.39 cr. India biz." He has made a prediction of teh film hitting the Rs 60 cr mark and today he has indicated it is well on course for that.
This movie is getting the benefit of good reviews from critics and these have been well backed by a strong word of mouth. This has enabled it to rise over the fact that it has released in under 4000 theatres in the country. Ajay Devgn also has a strong fan base and they would not have let this chance to watch their icon on the big screen pass them by.
