October Box Office Collection: This Varun Dhawan starrer has added another Rs 2.61 crore to the overall collection on Tuesday. Significantly, the film has maintained fair collections right through the week now and that is special as the movie did not start very brightly and therefore, needs to maintain its current momentum to ensure . Friday to Monday drop had led to a scare factor that the film may have a free fall during the weekdays. However with Tuesday being almost similar to Monday, around Rs 5 crore more would now be added before the first week comes to a close, predicts Bollywood Hungama.

Varun Dhawan, Banita Sandhu starrer released on Friday and from the morning shows it took off as per expectations. The film has released in just 1683 screen in India, plus 625 overseas and this restricted worldwide total had given October collection an opening day earnings net total of Rs 5.04 crore. This figure came after early morning shows logged an occupancy rate of just 15 per cent. For a Varun Dhawan movie this was quite poor. Unfortunately, for October, the movie released at a time when blockbuster hit Baaghi 2, that stars Tiger Shroff, is still running in theatres.
