Mothers Day magic! Late Sridevi-starrer 'Mom' earns Rs 27.01 crore in China within two days

The collection of the film has witnessed an upsurge on the second day. The Ravi Udyawar-directorial venture earned $1.68 million (approx Rs 11.47 crore) on Friday and $2.18 million on Saturday, with this the total stands at $3.86 million or Rs 27.01 crore.
Interestingly, Mom's collection has gone up around the time when the entire world is celebrating Mother's Day 2019.
However, the movie has to maintain the pace on Day 3. Other films like Aamir Khan's Dangal (2016), PK, Secret Superstar have made spectacular earnings in China. If Mom has to catch up with the earnings of these films, then the pace of earnings should remain consistent.

The trend of the movie will be more clear when weekend and following weekdays' numbers come.
Besides Sridevi, the film also features stars like Akshay Khanna, Nawazuddin Siddiqui; and Pakistani actors Adnan Siddiqui and Sajal Aly. This was Sridevi's last film in the lead role after which she left for the heavenly abode in February 2018, leaving all her fans and family members in tears.
Mom received critical acclaim from critics and applause from the audience. Sridevi received National Awards- Best Actress for this film.
