External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said on Saturday that 312 Indian fishermen were safely evacuated from Iran to India through Armenia. This takes the total number of fishermen to 657 so far this month.

A dedicated Special Control Room is working closely in tandem with Indian Missions, while maintaining regular contact with states and UTs.
Meanwhile, the External Affairs Minister began a two-day visit to the UAE on Friday to engage in talks to foster stronger bilateral ties between both sides. 
Updated advisories are being issued regularly, including information on local government guidelines, flight and travel situations and consular services.
Flights continue to operate from countries where airspace remains open. Since 28 February, around 8,43,000 passengers have travelled from the region to India.
In the UAE, airlines continue to operate limited non-scheduled commercial flights between the UAE and India based on operational and safety considerations, with around 95 flights expected today.
Officials confirmed that all Indian seafarers in the region are safe, with no incident involving Indian-flagged vessels reported in the past 24 hours.
