RRB recruitment 2019: Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has started the online application process from the posts of Junior Engineer (JE) from today (January 2).
RRB recruitment 2019: Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has started the online application process from the posts of Junior Engineer (JE) from today (January 2). There are 13,487 posts of Junior Engineer (JE), Junior Engineer (Information Technology), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS) and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) open for recruitment. The applicants will be able to apply for these positions through the RRB regional websites. To apply for these posts, the candidates have to register themselves on the RRB website. For that the applicants should have their mobile number and valid e-mail ID as all the communications related to the recruitment will be sent through SMS and e-mail.
The last date for submission of the application form for these posts is January 31, 2019.
The candidates will be selected through the two-stage Computer Based Test (CBT).
(a) Junior Engineer ( JE ): The candidates should hold 3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering/Mechanical/ Production/ Automobile/Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation & Control Engineering/ Control/ Tools & Machining/ Tools & Die Making/ Computer Science/ Computer Engineering or B.Sc in Civil Engineering of three years duration
(b) a combination of any sub-stream of basic streams of Civil Engineering from a Recognised University/ Institute.
Junior Engineer (IT): The candidates have to hold a PGDCA /B.Sc (Computer Science)/ BCA/ B.Tech. (Information Technology)/B.Tech. (Computer Science)/DOEACC ‘B’ level course of three years duration or equivalent.
Depot Material Superintendent (DMS) and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA): The candidates should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Physics and Chemistry. The should have at least 45 per cent marks.

The candidates should be between 18 years and 33 years of age as of January 1, 2019.
The question paper will be based on Mathematics, General Awareness, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering.
