Marjaavaan Box Office Collection Day 1: The Day 1 box office collection of Marjaavaan, starring Sidharth Malhotra, Tara Sutaria, Riteish Deshmukh and Rakul Preet Singh, is out now. According to trade analyst Taran Adarash, Marjaavaan has collected Rs 7.03 cr on its opening day. Moreover, Adarsh says that the movie should witness growth on Day 2 and 3. 

"#Marjaavaan posts respectable numbers on Day 1... Mass circuits / single screens very good, contribute to the total... Metro multiplexes ordinary... Multiplexes of Tier-2 + Tier-3 cities good... Should witness growth on Day 2 and 3... Fri ₹ 7.03 cr [2922 screens]. #India biz," Adarsh tweeted.

"Marjaavaan" tells the story of Raghu (Sidharth Malhotra) and Zoya (Tara Sutaria) whose world is turned upside down by a vertically-challenged gang leader (Riteish Deshmukh) with harmful intentions. Sidharth plays a larger-than-life character in the film.

The film is directed by Milap Zaveri.

Actor Sidharth Malhotra says he drew inspiration from Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan's performances in order to essay his larger-than-life role in the upcoming "Marjaavaan".
