The scheme was announced following former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray's spotlight on the unemployment issue in Maharashtra. The Ladla Bhai Yojana aims to provide financial aid alongside apprenticeships in various industries.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Ladla Bhai Yojana, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Age: Between 18 to 35 years
• Residency: Must be a resident of Maharashtra
• Education: Minimum qualification of passing class 12. Additionally, those with ITI/Diploma/Graduation/Post Graduation are also eligible.

Conditions for Industries and Establishments

Industries and establishments must fulfill these conditions to participate:

• Must operate in Maharashtra.
• Must be registered on the Skill, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation web portal.
• Must have been established for at least three years.
• Must be registered with EPF, ESIC, GST, DPIT, and Udyog Aadhar, and possess a corporate certificate.

Internship Requirement

Participants in the scheme are required to complete a six-month internship. During this period, they will receive a stipend based on their educational qualifications:

Class 12 graduates: Rs 6,000 per month
Diploma holders: Rs 8,000 per month
Graduates/Post Graduates: Rs 10,000 per month

The scheme is applicable to both private and government establishments, aiming to provide substantial support to Maharashtra's unemployed youth.
