Kerala Weather Update: IMD issues red alert in Wayanad, Kannur, Kasaragod amid downpour across state; flooding, property damage, landslides rock northern regions

Kerala Extreme Weather News Update, Kerala IMD Alert: Continuous heavy rains battered numerous areas of Kerala, particularly the hilly regions in the northern Malabar districts on Thursday, severely disrupting daily life. Reports of flooding, trees being uprooted, property damage, and minor landslides emerged from various parts of Wayanad, Kannur, and Kasaragod districts in northern Kerala. The IMD had issued a red alert for these areas on that day.
