Haryana school timing news, Haryana school new timing: The Directorate of School Education, Haryana has announced the new school timings for the winter session. The new timing will come into effect from 1 December.
For schools that take classes in single shifts, classes will be held from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM, according to a circular issued by the Directorate of Information, Public Relations & Languages Department.
For the schools which are taking classes in double shift, the first shift will be from 07:55 AM to 12:30 PM and the second shift will be from 12:40 pm to 05:15 pm, it added.
“The Haryana government has changed the timings of schools from December 1. The timing of single shift schools will be 09:30 am to 03:30 pm. On the other hand, in double shift schools, the timing of the first shift will be from 07:55 am to 12:30 pm and the second shift will be from 12:40 pm to 05:15 pm,” read the Haryana government circular.

The government adjusted the Haryana school schedule in light of the wintertime. Parents and students are urged to adhere to the new schedule from 1 December 2022.
Meanwhile, according to Kanwar Pal, the Minister of Education for Haryana, 1.41 lakh dual desks are being acquired for the state's 22 districts' elementary, secondary, and senior high schools.
"An amount of about Rs 95 crore will be spent on this. These desks will be delivered to the respective schools in the first phase by January 31, 2023," he said while presiding over a meeting of senior officials of the Education Department here on Tuesday.
According to the minister, 1.41 lakh dual desks will be purchased and delivered to schools in 26 blocks across the state's 22 districts.
