Noida's Air Quality Index (AQI) reported to be 233, which is still in the ‘poor’ category, while a few places in Delhi had clearer skies and better visibility than recent days. This minor change has given a little relief to the people living in the affected areas but the professionals have not changed their stance and still recommend being extra careful, especially for the people with health issues.

Delhi-NCR weather update

According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Delhi is likely to witness a partly cloudy sky today with smog or shallow fog in the morning hours, followed by mist or haze later in the day. Temperature levels have remained fairly steady, with minimum temperatures between 19°C and 22°C and maximum temperatures hovering around 26°C to 27°C.

IMD data indicates that minimum temperatures are 2–6°C above normal, while maximum temperatures are 4–5°C below normal, highlighting a contrasting weather trend. South-easterly winds with speeds up to 10 kmph prevailed over the city in the past 24 hours.

The air quality improved mainly because light winds helped spread out the pollution that was stuck close to the ground, allowing the air to clear up a bit.
