Captain Marvel box office collection week 1:  With Brie Larson in the lead role, Captain Marvel is witnessing good numbers at the box office in India. The film has so far earned Rs 56.41 cr in India business. The Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck directorial venture has earned rave reviews and applause from the audience. The film made Rs 3.55 cr and Rs 3.15 cr on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively.  On its opening day, Friday, the film made Rs 13.01 cr at the box office. This is a great success for a Hollywood film at the box office.
Some of the films produced by Marvel Studios have done well at the box office in India in the past as well.  Black Panther, Thor: Ragnarok, and Avengers: Infinity War have been successful in India.  Avengers: Infinity War made over Rs 250 cr in India business.
