After bagging a massive Rs 73.10 cr in opening weekend in the Indian market, it has emerged that Baaghi 2 collection overseas is skyrocketing too! The figures revealed  show  that the movie earned as much as Rs 22.11 cr in its opening weekend across a number of these vital markets that Indians abroad have powered-up over the last few decades

Baaghi 2 box office collection: Tiger Shroff is not Rambo. Not yet, at least. But he has just planted the seeds to what may, in the near future, if all things work out in his favour, make him equal to, or perhaps even go past that iconic Hollywood creation. After bagging a massive Rs 73.10 cr in opening weekend in the Indian market, it has emerged that Baaghi 2 collection overseas is skyrocketing too! The figures revealed show that the movie earned as much as Rs 22.11 cr in its opening weekend across a number of these vital markets that Indians abroad have powered-up over the last few decades. The reason why this is important is the fact that action movies from Bollywood do not generally end up as favourites of viewers abroad. That is a given that the industry has sworn by for quite some time because mostly Hollywood films have had a choke hold on that market. However, Baaghi 2 collection has pulled off a virtual

Mission Impossible type of triumph by achieving this massive number at the BO. In fact, if you add the domestic and foreign takes, the earnings jump to almost Rs 100 cr! Also, there is hardly any resorting to any digitisation of the hardcore action, it is all pure live and pulsating action throughout.
Baaghi 2 box office collection is being powered by 4125 screens in total with 3500 being domestic ones and as many as 625 overseas.

Taran Adarsh, in his admiration filled tweet today said, "It's often said that action films don't work or find limited patronage Overseas, but #Baaghi2 has proved the thought wrong... Collects $ 3.4 million [₹ 22.11 cr] in its opening weekend... SUPERB!" The best part about teh entire process is that not on;y has Tiger managed to sculpt his body and turned it into this magnificent muscled avatar, the essaying of the role too has been of acceptable standards. And this is despite movie critics saying that viewers should not look for logic in the movie as it has none. However, there is a whole lot of other things to focus on and the viewer is left feeling that he has seen a really paisa wasool movie, at least that is what is emerging from reports.

Also, back home in Bollywood, Baaghi 2 box office collection would be giving other superstars goals to set. Tiger Shroff has boosted the earnings magnificently and the others would be eyeing a return to the format too. It remains to be seen whether they will be able to do that successfully.
