APSC recruitment 2018: For recruiting 50 Forest Rangers in the Assam Forest Service, the Assam Public Service Commission has issued a notification, inviting applications from interested candidates on a prescribed format, published along with the advertisement. The filled-in application form should reach the APSC office on or before April 4, 2018. For latest updates regarding the examinations conducted by APSC, candidates can also log on at www.apsc.nic.in to get more information.

Interested candidates should remember the following important dates.

Starting date: March 3, 2018
Last date: April 4, 2018

They should also remember age criteria:

Minimum: 21 years
Maximum: 43 years
Age Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/PH candidates as per on rules

Educational qualifications: Bachelor's degree from a recognized university/institution

How to Apply

The candidates should use prescribed format to fill up the form, and need to have following documents.

1) Two copies of passports size photographs duly signed by the candidate
2) 10th pass self-attested certificate issued by the competent board as age proof
3) All other self-attested certificates and marksheets (from 10th onwards)
4) Caste certificate for claiming age and other relaxations
5) Physically handicapped certificate issued by the competent authority (self-attested)
6) Experience certificate, if any
