Alert! Ticket booking will be shut for 3 hours from tomorrow; Northern Railways to close reservation system for 2 days

In case if you are planning to reserve tickets from tomorrow on ward, then be aware as the Northern Railways will suspend passenger reservation system for three hours on 29 and 30 July nights. If someone is planning to make a ticket they should make it during the daytime. Ticket reservation, inquiry on 139 and internet booking would not be available in the suspended hours.

The services would be temporarily suspended from 11.45 pm to 02.45 am on these two days.This is due to static and dynamic database compression activity in the passenger reservation system, according to PTI report citing Railway. The passengers should avoid these hours for booking tickets and other services provided by PRS.

The passengers can check their ticket status, train running status, among other services. The Indian Railways network is one of the largest railway networks in the world and millions of people depend on this mode of transport.
