The Air Quality Index (AQI) of Delhi-NCR continued to remain in 'very poor' to 'severe' range on Monday as the thick layer of smog covered the national capital.
On November 24, 2025, The Commission for Air Quality Management in NCR and Adjoining Areas (CAQM) amended its air quality management plan (GRAP) schedule and made it more stringent to avoid the further deterioration of Delhi-NCR’s air quality.
The measures which were taken under GRAP Stage II to be taken under GRAP Stage I like :

GRAP Stage IV to be take under GRAP Stage III
NCR State Governments / GNCTD to take a decision on allowing public, municipal and private offices to work on 50 per cent strength and the rest to work from home
Central Government may take appropriate decision on permitting work from home for employees in central government offices.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), temperatures in Delhi-NCR are expected to decline gradually over the next few days.
In Delhi, Safdarjung, the maximum temperature is likely to rise from around 25 degree Celsius on November 24, to 26 degree Celsius from November 24 to 30, while the minimum temperature may rise from 9-10 degrees Celsius.
Whereas in Noida the maximum temperature may fall from 26 degree Celsius on November 24 to 24 degree Celsius on November 30, while the minimum temperature remains constant at 11 degree Celsius.
