Big Decisions by Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) After Pahalgam Attack: At an emergency meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, of the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) took a host of big decisions in the aftermath of the previous afternoon's terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Twenty five Indians and one Nepali national were killed in the Pahalgam attack, which was condemned by all Indian and many foreign leaders. The CCS meeting took place at PM Modi's residence in the national capital. Home Minister Amit Shah and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar were in attendance. The Centre called an emergency, all-party meeting in Parliament the next day, under the chairmanship of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
