7th Pay Commission: Jobs available under new pay matrix; 12th class, 10th class pass candidates can apply

7th Pay Commission: Job seekers, especially those eyeing government jobs, have just got a big reason to celebrate. Bringing some good news is the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) of Northern Frontier Railways, which has released a notification related to vacancies under sports quota. It has announced certain vacancies under the aegis of the Seventh Pay Commission pay matrix. Interested candidates can apply for these 21 positions on or before September 10. 
 
According to the notification, these government jobs include Boxing: 03, Weightlifting: 01, Cycling: 01, Table Tennis: 02, Basketball: 02, Badminton: 02, Volleyball: 01, Cricket: 01, Bodybuilding: 01, and Basketball: 04.
 
The candidates who have cleared examination in 12th standard or 10th standard can apply for the posts, as the website stated, "Candidates need to have the minimum Sports Norms to apply against the above mentioned games". Accordingly, they should be of at least 18 years and not more than 25 years. 
 
Notably, interested candidates can only apply through offline mode. 
 
Candidates belonging to General and OBC categories will have to pay a fee of Rs 500, aspirants belonging to other categories need to submit Rs 250.

Salary package: Selected candidates for basketball and volleyball will get pay in the level 1 of pay matrix as per 7th Pay Commission, while the candidates shortlisted for rest of the games ,will get pay in the level 2 or 3 of pay matrix as per 7th Pay Commission.
