India AI Impact Summit 2026: The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), in collaboration with Intel India, is going to launch a campaign titled "Most pledges received for an AI Responsibility campaign in 24 hours" tomorrow. This is a nationwide campaign that will start on February 16 at 8:00 AM. The initiative aims to achieve the official Guinness World Records title of "Most pledges received for an AI responsibility campaign in 24 hours."
The campaign aims to inspire citizens across the country to commit to the ethical, inclusive and responsible use of artificial intelligence, ahead of the India AI Impact Summit 2026 to be held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. Thus, strengthening India's commitment to building a trustworthy and human-centric AI ecosystem.
Designed as an interactive and awareness-driven experience, the initiative includes "scenario-based questions that encourage participants to reflect on responsible AI practices before taking the formal pledge." Upon completion, participants will receive a digital honorary badge issued jointly by IndiaAI and Intel India, along with access to curated government-led AI learning pathways.
The campaign invites all members of the community, including students, teachers, parents, government officials, industry professionals, startups and citizens from all backgrounds and religions to participate in its events.
The campaign creates an interactive experience for young audiences to learn about responsible artificial intelligence practices, data protection methods, accountability systems, and techniques to combat misinformation.
The AI Responsibility Pledge campaign functions as an important mode of participation for citizens that connects to the India AI Impact Summit 2026. The Summit will begin on 16 February 2026 and end on 20 February 2026, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi as its inaugural speaker.
The conference will bring together global leaders with policymakers, industry experts, researchers, startups, academic institutions and civil society to examine how AI can support inclusive development. The event will focus on three pillars: People, Planet, and Progress.
