The Lok Sabha will hold a special discussion on the 150th anniversary of the national song "Vande Mataram," emphasizing its significance and lasting impact on India’s independence movement.
Prime Minister is expected to participate in the discussion, covering both well-known and lesser-known aspects of the iconic song, with Union Home Minister Amit Shah opening the session in the Upper House.
In the Lok Sabha debate, the BJP-led NDA government has been allotted 3 hours for its participation, while the entire debate is scheduled to last for 10 hours.
