Taran Adarsh, on his Twitter account, posted this tweet about the box office collections of the film: "102 Not Out continues to win hearts and woo box office... Shows solid trending on weekdays... In the movie, Amitabh Bachchan is a 102-year-old father while Rishi Kapoor is playing his 75-year-old son. The plot of the film revolves around the father who is full of life, while his son, lacks the same vigour. The storyline, however, showcases the bond between the father and son.
The film director, Umesh Shukla, talking about his experience of working with these two stalwarts of Bollywood, reportedly said, "The best part about both, Bachchan and Rishi sir is that they are very curious as actors. They want to know things and hence shooting with them was easy. They have never imposed their ideas. If they are convinced regarding a scene, they will never impose or interfere. They would understand the director's vision."
