Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Wednesday, emphasised the need to be calm, confident, and stress-free during exams. Additionally, he has invited the nation’s 'exam warriors' to share their questions, ideas and experiences that can inspire others, in the upcoming ninth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha.
Speaking about PPC on social media platform X, PM Modi said, “The Class X and XII Board Exams are approaching and so is this year's #ParikshaPeCharcha! Looking forward to interacting with students, parents and teachers on different aspects of exams, most notably ways to overcome exam stress, remaining calm, confident, and appearing for exams with a smile."

With four days remaining to the closure of the application window, registrations for the ninth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) 2026 have already crossed the 4-crore limit, according to official data. 
As of 5:30 pm, there were a total of 4,03,12,346 participants registered for PPC 2026. This figure consists of 3,75,00,671 students, 22,89,974 teachers, and 5,21,701 parents, the official data showed.

These registration figures have surpassed last year's record. With 3.53 crore registrations, Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025 set a Guinness World Record  and was recognised as “Most people on a Citizen Engagement Platform in one month.”
The registration for PPC 2026 is still open, and any interested students, teachers, or parents can do it through the official website. In order to register, they need to click ‘participate now’, choose their category, provide their details, and send the form. They can also keep a printed copy of their application for the future.
