KVS Admission 2021: The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has notified that the declaration of Class 1 admission is to be done after April 30, 2021, depending on the situation. The guardians of the children seeking admission in KVS Class 1 can check this official notification by logging in to the official website of KVS at kvsangathan.nic.in. The KVS has also cancelled the KVS Class 9 admission test 2021.

The provisional admission list for KVS Class 1 admission was supposed to be released on April 23, 2021. However, the KVS undertook the decision to postpone the announcement of class 1 provisional selection list due to the huge rise in the number of COVID-19 cases all over the country. The KVS notification reads, "The date of draw of lots for Admission in Std 1 scheduled on 23rd April 2021 has been postponed due to unprecedented rise in COVID-19 cases in the country."

On April 28, 2021, the KVS issued another notification where it stated that the declaration for KVS Class 1 admission 2021 to be done after April 30, 2021, depending on the situation because at present there is a huge spike in the number of COVID-19 cases in the country. The KVS notification has also mentioned that KVS Admission 2021 for Class 9 students will be done on the basis of priority category. The admission test for class 9 will not be conducted due to the surge in COVID cases in the country.

As per the KVS admission procedures, the Deputy Commissioners will decide to display the admission lists from Class 2 to 9. It has also to be noted that this declaration of the admission lists will depend on the exigencies of the state.

Initially, the declaration of the admission lists for KVS admission 2021 from class 2 onwards was supposed to take place on April 19, 2021. The admission from class 2 onwards was supposed to take place from April 20, 2021, to April 27, 2021.
