Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the development in a post on X, calling it “great news for India and USA” and thanking US President Donald Trump for his personal commitment to strengthening ties between the two countries. Meanwhile, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said the framework would open access to a $30 trillion US market for Indian exporters, particularly MSMEs, farmers and fishermen.
