<p>Air India, on the other hand, got its FogCare initiative activated which is aimed at minimizing the passenger inconvenience caused by the fog season.</p>
<p>The airline mentioned that the weather forecast had predicted heavy fog and very low visibility in Delhi and some parts of northern India which could interfere with air operations.</p>
<p>As part of the initiative, passengers who are managed for rescheduling, cancelation and refund on their flights by the fog alerts are notified well in advance.</p>
<p>Further to the above, Air India also mentioned that it had implemented several measures in advance to control the disturbances and at the same time assure the safety of the passengers.</p>
<p>The airline guaranteed that the ground staff would be on hand to offer help in the event of any unplanned delays, diversions, or cancellations. Passengers were advised to verify the current flight status before heading to the airport and to factor in additional time for travel to avoid inconveniences.</p>
